Carolina Classic
Easy to pick. Easy to shell.
Carolina Classic is a vigorous, highly productive crowder. This new crowder bears large pods placed well above the foliage. The semi-bush type plant grows to about 20 inches in height, and it is ready to pick in about 65 days after planting. Plants are long bearing and can be cut back to a four inch stubble to regrow and produce a later crop.
Pods are waxy green with tinges of purple. The fresh pea is light green, tender and large. Carolina Classic makes an attractive dish when cooked and the flavor is better than typical large crowder peas. When mature, the dry pea is tan in color.
In addition to being an excellent table pea, Carolina Classic is highly attractive to wildlife, most likely because of the large pods displayed above the foliage. Because of its productivity, long bearing season, and its ability to regrow from the stubble to produce a later crop, Carolina Classic is well suited for deer.

Titan Table Pea
Heavy Yields, Delightful Flavor
Titan Table Pea is a highly productive, flavorful, white seeded crowder. Titan is distinguished by a very thin seed coat. In the fresh state, this seed coat is transparent,
exposing the pale green color of the fresh pea underneath. In the mature stage, the pea dries to a white colored seed. The thin white seed coat barely hides the white seed underneath.
The Titan pea is moderately early, produces a
heavy crop, and continues to bear pods over an extended period of time. The pods, borne high above the foliage, are easy to pick and shell.
The pea cooks to a pale green color. The pot liquor (broth) is almost clear and the flavor is mild with a hint of sweetness. The thin seed coat contributes to the culinarydesirability of the cooked dish.
Titan Table Pea is a highly productive, attractive and delicious vegetable that is sure to delight the grower.
Summertime Table Pea
A New Bright Green Pinkeye that retains its bright green color when cooked.
The Summertime Table Pea is a summer delight that is ready to pick as a
fresh vegetable in mid-summer (about 65 days after planting). The variety will continue to bear pods for a few weeks. The pods are borne above the foliage for easy picking and shelling.
The shelled pea is
bright green with a pale pinkeye. When cooked, the pea retains this bright green color (see photo right.) The pot liquor (broth) of the cooked pea is almost clear. The flavor and texture of the Summertime Pea are excellent.
Summertime is much like the Emerald Pinkeye, but it cooks to a lighter green, and at maturity the pea dries white with a reddish rust eye.
